Colour Changing Projection Clock

This projection clock improves on the standard projector though, it allows you to choose the colour of the backlight. Restful red, soothing green, luscious lilac, or hi-tech blue. Choose it yourself or leave it to the whim of the random colour selector. Not only does the clock show the time, but date and temperature too!

You don’t even need to set the clock manually either. It is linked by radio to an international standard atomic clock, to make sure it is absolutely accurate.

Retro Dial Telephone

If you were to ask an average gadgeteer to sketch a telephone, this is what they would draw. Oh yeah, this is a proper telephone. It doesn’t have a thousand memories, it doesn’t do text messaging, customised ring tones or multi-megapixel photos, and it certainly doesn’t do slim-line or lightweight.

What it does have in abundance though, is telephonic style. Think of all those classic 1960s/70s Brit films and TV series; The Sweeney, The Avengers, James Bond, all those Michael Caine thrillers, they all used the classic dial telephone. When Life on Mars came out, the classic dial telephone was up there with the Mk.3 Cortina when it came to period cool.

The classic GPO type 746 dial telephone was introduced to the market in 1967. It rapidly became a design classic and was still available to BT customers until the 1980s. Its robust and reliable design made it a universal favourite in homes and offices around Britain.

These are genuine, professionally refurbished, BT telephones fitted with brand new, totally original, case mouldings. Features include a real rotary dial and classic bell ringer. It has also been rewired for use with any BT-standard phone socket so all you need to do is plug it in. No messing!

Dead Fred Pen Holder

Having a bad day?

Take it out on Fred! Stab him in the heart as many times as you want, he won't mind 'cause he's already dead!

Picture your worst enemy as you slam your pen into Fred's chest, perhaps that annoying guy in accounts who constantly questions your expenses. Its like having your very own voodoo doll constantly at your side.

A strangely "cute" addition to any desk, Fred is made from blood red silicone rubber. He'll keep your pen safe from harm and provide an interesting talking point.

What's more, your colleagues won't dare mess with you once they've seen you in murder mode.

Notes: Do not use for constant stabbing - Fred is already dead! For serious frustration seek anger management classes.

Expressive Pen

The designers at Philips have been busy "emotionizing" their products, what with the cuddly Aurea TVs, and their emotional reactive jewelry. Now they have got designs on the humble pen, with a patented invention for a writing implement that actually records the mood of the writer while they're writing stuff. Its finger contact sensors detect give-aways like heartbeat, skin temperature and the pressure you exert on pen and paper, which it then uses to actually morph the look of the ink stroke.

While a biro may be a fantastic at scribbling notes, Philips thinks that they can actually increase your self-expression with this device. By processing data from the skin sensors, the pen switches flow from different ink canisters and uses actuators to modify the pen nib, allowing for different colors, stroke widths, styles and even ink flow continuity (presumably for that scratched-out-blobby desperate note to loved ones).

Since your emotions are given away by things like skin conductivity and heartbeat—after all, that's how lie detectors work—this idea may one day end up as reality. Future documents of historical note may yet be signed with such a pen, giving away how nervy the signatories are and "Dear John" letters may never be the same again.

Green Laser Pointer

This new 10mW green laser is incredibly bright - crazy bright you might even say. The beam is easily visible in dark conditions. The green laser dot can be seen miles away from the laser source.

In addition to its impressive output this laser requires a master key to turn it on. The key is part of a 5-point user safety system designed to prevent someone who is unfamiliar with the laser from mistakenly pushing a button and accidentally shooting a green laser beam across campus. The 5-point safety system is also designed to underscore the fact that this laser completely rocks the house and will dominate any other laser to cross its path.

Cat's Arse Sharpener

There are no words that readily spring to mind to soften the blow. It's a cat, you stick your pencil in its derrière, it meows, and it sharpens your pencil. Your feline friend stands in his own litter tray that catches your pencil shavings. Of course not many people use pencils much these days, but this is perhaps the best reason there has ever been for going out and buying one right now.

No animals were harmed in the making of this product. Don't try sharpening your pencil in a real cat if you value your life. Or even if you don't come to think of it.

Cushion from NASA

Relieve severe back pain from hours of sitting at your desk with the revolutionary NASA invented Memory Foam Seat Cushion.

The cushion utilizes one of the most fantastic inventions to come out of NASA's laboratories in years - "Memory Foam". The Therapy Memory Foam Visco-Elastic Seat Cushion utilizes Thermo-Sensitive properties to provide contouring support according to natural body heat. That means it conforms and changes shape to accommodate any body shape or position.

Studies show that 80% of the population begins to see the deteriorating effects of bad posture around age 60. That means most of us will end up with the debilitating and painful effects associated with spine and disc compression as we enter our golden years.

The Memory Foam Office Chair cushion is the first orthopedic cushion to alleviate pressure that causes harmful back strain and permanently damaging spinal conditions.

Clock of Nines

Math enthusiasts who don't want to move totally into the digital realm might appreciate this analog clock.

Each number is expressed as a calculation involving three instances of the number 9.

For example, 5 o'clock is the square root of nine (3), factorial (3x2x1 = 6), minus 9/9 (6-1 = 5).

The trickiest time is 7 o'clock, whose calculation works out to 6.99999..., with an infinite number of nines. Wikipedia assures us that 0.99999... really does equal 1, so no worries that the clock is cheating there.

Tix Clock

Millions of patterns are possible with the futuristic-looking Tix clock, yet the clock is extremely simple to read once you grasp the basic concept. The four seperate fields act like the four digits of a digital clock. The value of each digit is simply the number of illuminated squares in each field. So any given time of the day may have thousands of different ways of displaying the time. The clocks in the image are displaying the time 12:34. It's that easy! Of course your friends are just going to take a look at your Tix clock and think it's just modern LED art.

Pen Features 4GB of Memory and Rechargeable Laser Pointer

This ball point pen looks ordinary enough, the only visible difference is the small button located near the top of the shaft, and the hole at the tip. As almost anyone would guess, that button controls the laser pointer on the end of the pen. That’s not the only useful feature of this pen, as it also opens up to reveal a 4GB USB flash drive. While those two features are somewhat common these days, you don’t see them built into the same pen very often.
