Michelangelo's Wooden LED Clock

It is said that famed artist Michelangelo would look at a piece of stone or wood and see what he was going to sculpt hidden inside. Just like old Mikie, now you too can see into the heart of a chunk of tree. The Wooden LED clock is a marvel of simplistic design. Until you plug it in, it looks like a pretty carved piece of wood. Power it up, and the time glows from inside.

A simple three button interface will let you program your clock. You can then have the time displayed in one of three ways: always on, like a normal clock; blinky mode, where the digits flash every 2.5 seconds; or slide mode, where as the minute changes the time displays one digit at a time. The Wooden LED Clock is a conversation piece like no other. None of Michelangelo's statues tell the time, so that makes this clock better. See, a clock cooler than a priceless work of art - now that is a great deal.

Will Return Clock

Just post the Will Return Clock on your office door or near your cubicle. Anyone coming to meet you will see the sign and know you're out, and they will wait for your return based on the time posted. But then they will notice that the time displayed is right now, and you're not back yet. So they'll leave, give you fifteen minutes, and come back. But now the time has changed. See? It's brilliant; you'll confuse and amuse everyone. And if you do happen to be at your desk and someone asks you something, just point to the clock and keep on working. You'll be back soon.

Lighted Message Board

Have you ever left a message on the message board for your colleagues and they never noticed it and it finally ended up with a big quarrel? A conventional message board that lets you use those ink markers to write on it, would not be prominent enough to attract attentions. You’d need something that can deliver the message in a more prominent manner, such as the written message could be flashing or blinking to attract others’ eyes on it.

Thanks to today’s LED technology, here comes the Lighted Message Board that features LED lights to better attract attentions. Just write your message on it using one of the two included special pens and switch on the LED. The message will stand out either blinking or flashing. You can also set it to work in the single color or multi-color mode. It runs on three AAA batteries.

Walking Robot Pencil Sharpener

This is perhaps the coolest pencil sharpener ever to walk on its own. Just open its chest, insert a pencil, twist to sharpen, and remove your pointy pencil. By sharpening your pencil, you have secretly wound the 4" robot's power core and it will now begin walking toward you (or in whatever direction it's facing). The shavings empty into the robot's cranial chamber, which can be easily opened for emptying. If you don't have a pencil handy, just use the included key to wind up the robot. Either way, your robot will walk with delight.

Babble Understands Social Context

Herman Miller and their consulting partners Applied Minds and Insight Product Development hope to solve that problem with a new device called Babble. Sort of like a stomp pedal for your phone, Babble takes your spoken words, and synthesizes a "conversation" of babbling voices around you. The effect for you, is a mildly distracting burble. But for a co-worker who can't hear the other side of the conversation, keeping track of any information on a casual basis becomes almost impossible. Babble works, because it understands the social context of its function.

Pritt Correction Roller (2005)

Pritt's Correction Roller Comfort is suitable for quick, clean and accurate corrections on paper and facsimiles, without leaving marks or stains on photocopies. The roller applies dry, which means that the corrected area can be written or typed over instantly. The band width of 4.2mm makes the roller ideal for correcting single lines of typed or printed text. In addition to purely functional aspects, the design focuses on aesthetics, ergonomics and a self-explanatory way of holding the roller. Unlike its conventional predecessors, the roller is moved flat - as opposed to upright - over the paper. The colour scheme is geared towards the various functional areas of the correction roller and reflects the membership in the Pritt correction roller product family.

This bowling game allows you to roll strikes, spares, and gutter balls on a desk or table. Players use the ramp to aim and hurl the steel ball down the lane; the ramp slides across the width of the lane to provide the necessary ball-release angles for picking up the dreaded seven-ten split. The solid oak lane has target arrows that provide a visual guide, and the pins are easy to set up, yet offer a stern challenge to both novice and seasoned tabletop bowlers.

On/off mug

This simple, clever mug automatically indicates its current state of mind when you pour a hot beverage into it.
In its dormant state, the mug offers a black “OFF” display, but once your hot coffee or tea hits the inside, it gradually transforms to read “ON”. A heat sensitive pigment changes the color of the mug from black to white.
